Sometimes to really understand something you have to be able to visualise it – and i think this is a great example. The above picture (click on it for a bigger version) is a graphic representation from JP Morgan of the size of the worlds 15 top banks from Mid 2007 to now. Shocking to see just how much market capital some have cost – Citigroup especially.

I’d love to see the same done for the Irish banks.
